District Fire Post in the Northern Region has been upgraded to a full-fledged Fire Station. Previously, it didn't have its own fire tender and depended on the far-off Yendi Fire Station, causing delays in response times.

At a recent ceremony, the Northern Regional Fire Commander, ACFO I James Akrah, emphasized the need for maintenance and support from local leaders, including the Chiefs, and urged continued and intensified public fire safety education in the area.

Both the District Coordinator, Mr. Seidu Abdul Aziz, and District Fire Officer, ADO I Yusuf, expressed their gratitude for the fire tender and commitment to enhancing fire protection in the district.
