Transformative Face of Volta Pageant continues to empower Young Women

Since its inaugural edition in 2020, the Face of Volta Pageant has been making waves in the beauty pageant industry, transforming the lives of young women in the Volta region of Ghana. The pageant, which aims to empower and uplift young ladies through its platform, has seen remarkable success stories from its winners and contestants.

Hollister Dzidzor Adzanu, the winner of the maiden edition in 2020, set the stage for the pageant’s success with her victory. Since then, the Face of Volta Pageant has continued to produce outstanding winners who have gone on to achieve great success in the pageant world.

In 2021, the winner of the first season of the Face of Volta Pageant represented Ghana at the Classic Beauty International Pageant in Lagos, Nigeria, where she emerged as the 1st runner up out of 35 countries. Another contestant, Clarita Deletsu, who was the 3rd runner up, represented Ghana at the Miss Global Africa Pageant and secured the 3rd place among over thirty countries.

The success of the Face of Volta Pageant continued in 2022 when Miriam Xorlali Tordzeagbo, the 2nd runner up of the 2020 edition, clinched the prestigious Miss Ghana title. She went on to represent Ghana at the 71st Miss World pageant held in India. Blandina Sika Gumenu, the winner of the Face of Volta 2022, also made her mark by winning the Miss Tourism Ghana crown in September 2023 and is set to represent Ghana on the international stage.

The reigning queen of the Face of Volta Pageant competed at the Miss Africa International Pageant 2023 and emerged victorious, winning the regional title of Miss West Africa International. Her success further solidifies the reputation of the Face of Volta Pageant as a platform that nurtures and empowers young women to reach their full potential.
