Kofi Adams, Rotary Club and Teteman Diaspora commissions sanitation Water facilities

Hon. Kofi Adams, Member of Parliament for Buem Constituency, on Saturday, January 13, 2024, attended the commissioning of water and sanitation facilities in Teteman Upper and Lower Towns. The project was made possible through the efforts of the Rotary Club of Capitol Hill, Washington DC; Rotary Club of Accra South; Teteman Diaspora Organization; and Hon. Kofi Adams himself. The importance of community collaboration was highlighted as the project was completed.
During the commissioning ceremony, Hon. Kofi Adams highlighted the impact of climate change on water sources and stressed the significance of the new water facility in addressing this issue. The community was urged to take good care of the infrastructure and maintain a culture of cleanliness to ensure its longevity.
Hon. Kofi Kofi Iddie Adams also made personal contributions to the project by drilling a borehole and providing two polytanks for water supply. Additionally, he announced the commencement of the rehabilitation of the Bodada-Teteman-Old Baika-New Baika roads, a much-needed development in the area. He emphasized the need for fairness, transparency, and accountability in managing the facilities, further underlining his commitment to improving the lives of his constituents.
