Phone addiction is the obsessive use of a smartphone. The behavioral addiction is often dubbed as “nomophobia,” or the fear of being without a mobile device.
1. You are always distracted by your phone and unable to focus on tasks.
You find yourself mindlessly scrolling through social media or other apps. You don't even know what you are searching for.
2. You spend more time on your phone than you intended to. Sometimes you decide to just visit Facebook and read a few posts but you end up spending hours.
3. You spend more time on the phone than with your family or friends.
4. You feel the need to constantly check for notifications on your phone.
5. You feel a compulsive need to always be connected. Between food and data, you would rather choose to buy data. 😀
6. You pick up your phone and check it even when you know there are no notifications.
7. You check your phone as soon as you wake up and the last thing you see before you go to bed.
