Volta: Amanda Foundation, High Spirit Foundation & Co. support Trekume community.

Amanda Foundation in collaboration with High Spirit Foundation, Food for All Africa, and the office of the Youth Member of Parliament, among other governmental organizations, has supported residents of Trekume Community with assorted items (food,drinks, clothes, learning materials) and health screening.

The items, worth over twenty thousand Ghana Cedis, were donated to the beneficiaries on the 2nd of September, 2022, in a short ceremony.
In addressing the community, the CEO's of the foundations encouraged the community folks to take care of themselves and also entreated the students to take care of themselves and also learn hard.
They also took the opportunity to examine the community members for common illnesses and diseases.
Some beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the NGO's who partnered before coming to their aid for this kind gesture and also asked for more support for them in this season of crisis.
Some students also expressed their joy and excitement for the items received and pleaded with the government and groups to come to their aid because of the current crisis they're facing.
The students also pleaded with the government, DCE, and GES to provide them with teachers to help in their studies, which is currently an obstacle to completing their education and attaining their goals.

The chiefs and elders also stressed the challenges facing the Trekume community, especially in terms of bad roads and a lack of teachers for the JHS Department of the school.
They further called for assistance regarding their learning standards, which are not up to the standards attained in the cities.
Addressing the community on the education challenges, Mr. Ramsey Benson, who is the Youth Member of Parliament and also doubles as a member of the Nneka Foundation, donated learning materials to the students and also used the medium to admonish the parents to invest in their wards for a brighter future.
The organizers further used the opportunity to extend their special thanks to Majet water company, Anloga, 4star grafix links, Aflao, Let your light shine, Denu.
