Divisional Officer Grade Three (DO III) Vida Dela Narh (Mrs) of Industrial Area Fire Station under the Tema Regional Command partook and represented the Service in the 5th Police and Corrections Forum (PCF) held in Busan in South Korea.
The program which targeted Security Agencies and Emergency Responders worldwide was organized by the International Youth Fellowship (IYF) under the auspices of their revered leader, Pastor Ock Soo Park. It sought to uncover correctional and edification measures that have the potency to ultimately shape the mindset of Security Personnel, Emergency Responders and as well as Prisoners and Inmates worldwide to better handle issues of despair.
The vision of the program is to discover mindset that leads to a happier life and safer world through self-control, the ability to think and exchange healthy ideas for optimum performance of the individual and /or organization.
The mindset program per its design, has effective ways of reshaping and rebuilding thoughts and confidence in systems which could be of great service to the GNFS if adopted.
DO III Narh was presented with a plaque and certificate of participation after the forum. She also took the opportunity to visit some Fire Stations in Busan, South Korea to familiarise with their operations and to lay the foundation for future collaborations, support and exchange programs between them and the GNFS.
