Krachi Nursing Training and Midwifery College celebrate 10 years anniversary.



The Nursing and Midwifery Training College in Kete Krachi which was established on 20th September,2012 by the government of Ghana through the efforts of the Krachi Traditional council,the Then Volta Regional minister,Hon. Helen Adwoa Ntoso.
The college celebrated it 10th anniversary under the theme; Quality Healthcare Delivery for National Development via Effective Nursing and Midwifery,The role of all stakeholders.

The anniversary saw attendance of the Oti regional Director of Health services,Dr. Osei Kuffour Afreh.


After 10 years,the school still lacks some developmental projects which has been the problems since it establishment.

In an interview with the SRC President and the Vice,they are worried about some of these problems.

The SRC President,Master Godsway Nukunu Korsi, said the school has a lot of challenges after two years in office as the SRC President. The school has two campuses and it has been difficult bring the students in for lectures.

He added that,the school do not have adequate class rooms for Teaching and learning and also do not have enough skills laboratory and computer laboratory which can help the students in learning.
The Vice SRC President, Madam Kofitse Emelia who was also worried about their lightning system on compose and inadequate hostel facilities. 
She has call on the stakeholders to be of help to the school.


The Principal of the College,Madam Elizabeth Mensah who appeal for staffs said,many staffs when posted here always ask for accomodations and some ended up refusing to come because of inadequate staffs bungalows on the campuses.

She harmered on the library the school is lacking which was one of the key point of the school during the durbar. 

She said,the library laboratory that will have will contain computer laboratory,offices for the teachers to facilitate Teaching and learning in the school.
