The Sister- in- Charge of St. Francis Xavier Hospital at Assin Fosu, Sister Georgina Donzing, has pleaded with Ghanaians to financially support their relatives who are sick at home and at hospitals to gain their strength and life but should not leave them to die before they show concern about their funerals.
In an exclusive interview with Odoom Prince Linford of Nkwa FM, she disclose that, there are many people on admission at St. Francis Xavier Hospital that have no friends or family members even visiting them and to talk of settling their bills.
She said if you are strong today help those who are sick because time changes and you can also be sick tomorrow. She added that, if you are rich in the family everyone turns to you for help but when you become poor everyone turns his back to you.
The Sister-in- Charge of St. Francis Xavier Hospital also warned everyone to be alert of activities of fraudsters nowadays.
She revealed that, fraudsters have been using the name of the facility to dupe people of their money which is very disheartening.
Narrating their strategies, she said, they will call and inform you that, your relative has been involved in an accident and is at emergency and such an amount of money is needed before he or she is attended to.
She told Odoom Prince Linford of Nkwa FM that, they don't charge accident and emergency cases before they attend to victims so everyone should be careful..
