Sarfoa Commissions Smart ICT Lab.

A short ceremony was held to commission a smart ICT laboratory for the Senior Correctional Centre (SCC). This follows the refurbishment and conversion of the Centre’s ICT laboratory into a smart laboratory by the beauty queen of TV3’s 2021 Ghana’s Most Beautiful reality show, Miss Benedicta Sarfoa Asamoah.
The project which was undertaken by the Sarfoa Foundation in line with the queen’s prisons reform programme, with support from NLA/Good Causes Foundation, Coral Reef, AitelTigo and Rockstars Roofing Systems is now equipped with smart tablets. The facility will be used to train the juveniles and young offenders in basic ICT skills and robotics. 
Present at the ceremony were the Director of Prisons in charge of Health, Mr. Samuel Adjei-Attah; the Deputy Kenyan High Commissioner to Ghana, Mr. Sampson Koech; the Director-General of National Lotteries Authority (NLA), Mr. Samuel Awuku; Officer- in-Charge of SCC, ADP Millicent Owusu and Second in Command (2IC) of SCC, ADP Victoria Adzawodah; 
Others were the Chaplain of the Mamobi Prisons Complex, CSP John Benang; Coordinator of NLA Good Causes Foundation, Madam Ama Frimpomaa; Chief Executive Officer of Coral Reef, Mr. Richard Osei Anim and some representatives of AirtelTigo as well as Rockstars Roofing Systems.
