Anloga Avete L/A Basic Sch. bags four Awards at First Lego Int. Robotic League.

Anloga Avete L/A Basic School from the Anloga District of the Volta Region has grabbed home four(4) awards in the just ended Robotics League.

The Robotic League which is organized by First Lego International at UPSA School,Accra.

The League which features 32 selected schools cross the country ended yesterday with exhibitions from the participating schools and at the end of the who program, Anloga Avete L A Basic School picked up four Awards .

The awards are Innovation Award, Robotic Design Award(2nd place), Robot Performance Award (1st place) and the Champions Award (3rd place).

Interacting with the participants, they expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Almighty God, their school and all the facilitators for their time and support given them during the training session till the finals of the content.

They further adviced parents and schools to take I.T seriously and also plead with the government and non-governmental organizations to help equip schools with enough ICT tools.

A teacher, Mr Remember Sorkpor also pleads with Government to establish more IT laboratory in the communities and also train more facilitators in the field of I.T.
