Volta: Regional Hospital gets new refurbished accident and emergency center.

The new Volta Regional Hospital (VRH), Hohoe has on Tuesday, 2nd of August, 2022 inaugurated its newly refurbished accident & emergency center. 

Attending the event was the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Noble Awumey, reps from the Volta Regional Health Directorate led by Dr. Semanu Dzokoto, the former Regional Director of Health Services, Dr. Timothy Letsa, country advisor of Korea Foundation of International Healthcare (KOFIH) and her team, reps from Gbi Traditional Council, Management and staff of VRH led by Dr. Habibu Ahmed, and other stakeholders. 

Giving the welcome address, the Nurse Manager of the facility, Miss Esther Kporwofe indicated that for over 50 years of establishment, the VRH-Hohoe can now boast of a well equiped ultramodern accident & emergency center through the support of KOFIH.
