Akatsi: Anyiheme Youth Network supports community with security lights.

Anyiheme Youth Network, a youth group at Anyiheme within the Akatsi South Municipality illuminates the community with some security lights. 

The Youth group according to their founder; Hubert Gagadosu said; the main aim of the association was to lift the image of the Anyiheme community and its members as well. 

According to him, they realised some vantage points in the community have been dark due to lack of proper lighting systems, a situation which was a security threat to natives in the night.

Due to this, they quickly mobilized funds to procure some security lights and with support form the Assembly member of the area Hon. Vitus Kportufe, they were able to secure seven (7) LED security lights to be fixed at these points.

The installation project which was done on Monday 1st August, 2022 was spearheaded by Innocent Yegbeh, an electrical engineer and a staunch member of the group. According to him, that is his best way to make the Anyiheme Community a better place and he went on to advice other Youth to contribute their little resources to promote the community.

With supports from some other group members like; Lovemark Yegbe and Sylvester Gagadosu and others, the fixing project was a success, as they appeal to other benevolent community natives to extend their helping hands in making their community a better place.
