Volta: Nunya Foundation donates to three schools in Aflao.

Nunya Foundation, a non-governmental organisation has donated over 100 Ewe text and story books to some schools in the Volta Region.
The benefictionary schools are, Agbogbome RC Basic School, Duta M/A Basic School and Akporkploe M/A Basic School all in the Ketu South Municipality of the Volta Region.
Mr. Christian James Zorgli popularly known as "Nufiala 1", the leader of the group indicated that, the aim of the group is to revive “Eʋegbe” that is the Ewe language among pupils in the basic schools.
He said, “we cannot as individuals and citizens watch the ewe language die off or vanish”, so Nunya foundation thought it wise to gather a few Ewe books to help the young ones in basic schools learn more about their roots.
Interacting with some benefictionary schools, they expressed their gratitude to the Foundation for coming to their aid and supporting them with materials to boost the learning of their local language.
They further called on the government to help them revive learning of the Eʋe language by providing related materials.
The students on the other hand also expressed their gratitude to the group for their good gesture and asked for God's blessings upon them.
