Oti: Nana Forster Owusu II donates to kparekpare MA JHS.

Nana Forster Owusu II, chief of Kparekpare in the Krachi East Municipality in the Oti region donated furniture to Kparekpare MA, JHS School yesterday. 

The furniture which cost over thousands of cedis was presented to the School in a short ceremony held at the school's premises.

    Speaking to the media, Nana Forster Owusu II states that, the donation of the furniture is a way of curbing the problem of furniture shortage in the school. He further pleaded with the authorities of the Ghana Education Service to come to the aid of the school in terms of providing enough furniture and also classroom blocks for the second stream of the school.

     The Headteacher, Mr Ketor Mawuli in receiving the items expressed his profound gratitude to the Chief for coming to their aid and promised to make good use of the furnitures. 

He further stated other needs of the school such as water, computers and called on the authorities for support. 

     Also, around was the Assembly Member of the area, Hon. Kaliwa Isaac. He commended the kind gesture of the Chief and assured him of proper maintenance of the donated materials. 

   He also called on the general public especially authorities (GES) and NGO's.

   The students also expressed their heartfelt joy to the Chief for contributing towards their educational necessities.
