Ashaiman: Fire destroys structures at timber market.

Fire has destroyed some wooden structures at the Ashaiman timber market in the Greater Accra Region on Saturday 9th July.
The sad incident happens between the hours of 9 am to 11am in the morning.
According to source, an LPG cylinder in some of the structures ruptures the further spread but the actual cause is unknown.
It took the intervention of two (2) fire engines from Tema Motorway and Metro Fire Stations to contain the raging fire at Ashaiman Timber Market.
So far no casualties were recorded apart from one saloon car which was burnt to ashes and also the sleeping materials of the worker.
The fire service is investigating the cause of the fire outbreak.
