Oti Region: World Vision Ghana donates Personal Protective Clothing to Krachi West Municipal Hospital


World vision Ghana has donated personal protective clothing to Krachi West Municipal Hospital.

World vision Ghana in the Krachi West Municipality in line with their activities to help fight and control diseases among children has donated hospital items to Krachi west municipal hospital to be use to protect health workers who risk their lives to save lives in the Municipality.
30 boxes of Poly-coated Gown were presented to the Hospital.

The world vision Ghana has been of help to the hospital since their establishment in the Municipality and aslo played a key role in fighting against COVID-19 pandemic.
Presenting the items to the Municipal hospital, Mr. Joshua Baidoo, who is the Southern Regional Operational Managers of World vision Ghana,said these items are to be use to protect the frontline workers who rinks their lives to protect the lives of the people who comes to the hospital to seek treatment of various diseases.
He said,World vision Ghana is child focus organisation whose main is ensure the total wellbeing of the child and as part of it,they work or partner with the Ghana health service to support them and protect from infectious diseases so they can protect the children.

He said when the doctors and nurses are protected,he believe that they will the confidence to work to protect the patients in their facility.

 
Receiving the items on behalf of the hospital was the Administrator,Mr. Jacobs Amegatsey, who gave thanks to world vision Ghana for their support to the hospital all the time.
The organisation will in the coming days continue to donate same items to other hospital in the Oti region.

In all a total number of 200 boxes to the hospitals in the Oti region
 Hospitals to benefit from these are Krachi Nchumuru district Hospital,Jasikan Hospital which also serves as the Regional Hospital in Oti region, Nkwanta North and Kadjebi.
