Oti: 27 people applied for NPP's Research and Election Officers Position

27 people have applied to be NPP's research and election officer in the Oti Region.
Forty six(46) applications has been received and twenty seven(26) are seeking to be the research and election officer in the party.
Speaking to the Regional Secretary elect,Mr. Jonathan Akpabe, He disclosed this to the Media saying, a lot of people are lobbying for various positions in the NPP party in the Oti region.
He said, Forty six(46) applications have been received so far and out of the number, twenty seven(27) are seeking to be the NPP Oti regional research and election officer.
Five (5) are for Communications officer,4 for Deputy Nasara co-odinator,3 for Deputy youth Organizer,3 for Deputy organiser, 3 seeking to be the Deputy women organiser and one for Financial Secretary.
He again said that these positions are not to be elected base on the party's constitution so they can use it to balance the Executives in terms of geographical and tribal areas after the Regional Elections where the party has no Executives.
Mr. Jonathan Akpabe was the research and election officer until was elected into a new office as the Regional Secretary for NPP in Oti region.
He said,he has made his former office more attractive and was not surprised with the number of people lobbing to be the research and election officer in the region.
