Binduri: DCE hands over 180 furniture to GES.

In the middle hours of today, 26th May, 2022, the indefatigable DCE for Binduri, Hon. Ayinga Abagre Yakubu handed over 180 dual desk classroom furniture to the Ghana Education Service, Binduri chapter on behalf of our abled Member of Parliament, Hon. Abanga Abdulai for onward distribution to the various basic schools.
Inadequate furniture is one of the serious cankers faced by almost all the basic schools in the Binduri district. This makes it difficult for effective teaching and learning to take place.
When this concern was tabled before our MP who couple as deputy Works and Housing minister, he responded with immediate effect.
The 180 furniture is expected to be distributed in the ratio 1:1 among the upper and lower primary schools ( 90 for upper primary and lower primary respectively).
The DCE added that, the MP said in the coming weeks he shall procure an addional 250 dual desk to add up to the number.
"We know our problems are too many, but we shall get there. I therefore call on all well meaning citizens of the district to put hands together in addressing these challenges." He added.
