GMB22: Meet Augustina Naa Shika Coleman aspiring to represent Greater Accra Region.



Augustina Naa Shika Coleman is a young passionate woman born in Ga Mashie a suburb in Accra .As a young girl she started her primary and junior high School education at the Osu Presbyterian Girls School, after which she gained admission into the Presby Senior High School Mampong Akuapem in the Eastern Region.
 
After graduating in 2017 from High school ,she worked at the Fountain of Youth International School before securing an admission into a tertiary institution which is Gh Media School .
Whiles growing up it has always been her dream to work in the media space hence whiles in Gh Media School,she studied a diploma program in Journalism and Media Studies .
Naa Shika as she's popularly refered to worked as a reporter at Adoa tv and has lots of news stories like Unsettling the Dust"( Kofi Antubam's Legacy),Racial Segregation Against Albinoism,The Ghana Must Go Story" including many others.

Aside being trained as a journalist she is also a professional model and a philanthropist .

Augustina Naa Shika Coleman is also the founder of the Shika's Hope Foundation .The foundation officially started in January this year and is aimed at supporting the less vulnerable especially women and children.
This time she is aspirating with great ambitions to represent the Greater Accra Region in this year's Ghana's Most Beautiful pargent to showcase the tradition and great culture of her people.

And also to contribute her quota to the region whiles embarking in a project to change lifes of people in a positive way.

Achievement

In 2019 she was awarded as the 2 nd Runner up in Gh Schools Mr& Miss Akwaaba .

Earlier this year Shika was awarded the Discovery model of the year at the Kiss and Tell Fashion Show &,Awards after showcasing great qualities and potentials and is currently a brand ambassador with the KKB Multimedia Concepts here in Accra.
