Two killed in an armed robbery attack.

Residents of Zebilla has been thrown into a state of shock and rage last night when news filtered in of yet another deadly armed robbery attack on the Zebilla - Binaba road.

Unconfirmed reports suggests that the robbers mounted a road block close to the Abaakuga River located about 6 km from the Zebilla township to as it were, intercept patrons of the Zebilla market. 

Two victims were shot killing one ( JACOB APANDAGO, aged 25). instantly. The other (ATENI NDAUGO, aged 30) who was initially in critical condition was rushed to the Zebilla government hospital but died later on from the injuries. 

Personnel of the Ghana Police Service are tight lipped on the matter but our sources say, a serious manhunt has been triggered to get the perpetrators of this dastardly act to book. 

Speaking to Zebs FM on the incident, the assembly member for the area, Hon. Sulemana Afuugu Bukari said " this is black Monday. We have lost two of our illustrious sons from Sitande under this bizarre incident. It is sad"

He admonished the general public to volunteer information that may lead to the arrest of these criminals.
