Kwami Sefa Kayi (born 20 June 1970) also known as Chairman General is a Ghanaian media personality, broadcast journalist and public speaker. He is currently the host of Peace FM's morning show popularly known as “Kokrokoo”.

Kwami Sefa Kayi comes from Ho – Bankoe in the Volta region. Kwami Sefa Kayi is married with three children; two girls and a boy. He had his Senior Secondary Education at Okuapeman Secondary School and furthered his education, holds a G.C.E., O and A- Level Courses in Broadcasting and Media Studies, Certificate in Public Relations, Advertising & Marketing all from the Institute of Journalism, and a Certificate in Advance communication from the Ghana Institute of Journalism.

His life has not turned out as he expected as a youngster because his youth ambition was to be an Army officer, "Because he thinks it is the most courageous and humble thing to do in life". Kwami joined a drama group at Ghana Broadcasting Corporation where he later got his first lesson in Radio Journalism. Living a day at a time, the multiple award winner, who loves to read and play tennis as his hobbies, is a Christian whose favorite book is the Bible. He is also interested in anything by Bob Marley. He is the host of the popular morning show on Peace FM called the “Kokrokoo” and he has the ability to affect millions of lives positively.

Kwami Sefa is still achieving the proudest. Mr. Kayi’s favorite team is the Hearts of Oak, Kpando Hearts of Lions and Chelsea FC. Kwami over the years have improved in his career and thus won the admiration of many in and outside the country and even joked about how he has moved on from the local tro-tro transport to his mother’s place at Okponglo, to now driving a Mercedes Benz.

He is a broadcast journalist, public speaker and a Master of Ceremony. He is currently the host of Peace FM's morning show popularly known as “Kokrokoo. Kwami Sefa Kayi on August 6, 2021, was sworn in as a board member of the National Petroleum Authority.

He hosted the maiden edition of Ghana Music Awards until 2007. In 2019 he co-hosted the 20th VGMA with Berla Mundi.

He is the owner of Kokrokoo Foundation which was established in 2015. In April 2019, the foundation donated incubators worth $100,000.00 to help curb the mortality rate of children born pre-term.

The 'Project 100' drive was conceived in 2014 and had the aim to provide at least 100 incubators to a number of health institutions in the country. As of April 2021, 35 incubators had been provided.

Awards & Recognition: He has won many awards for his handwork in the media sphere of Ghana including Radio Morning show host of the year in 2014, Best journalist of the year in 2017. He is an accomplished journalist in Ghana which is why he has become a household name for listeners of radio in Ghana and beyond.

2014 – Initiated the charity ‘Project 100 Show’.
2015 – Established the Kokrokoo Foundation.
