Descendant of Queen Abla Pokou of Là Cote D'Ivoire Pays a Courtesy Call On Asantehemaa At The Manhyia Palace.

Nanan Adjoua Ahou II of Là Cote D'Ivoire, has paid a courtesy call on Asantehemaa Nana Ama Konadu Yiadom III and some other prominent Asante queens including the paramount queen of Denyase traditional area, Nana Adutwiwaa Bonin III, Kenyasi Hemaa, Nana Yaa Mmua Baayie II and the paramount queen of Asante Akyem Agogo, Nana Afrakoma Serwaa Kusi Oboadum.

The historic visit of the Ivorian queen to Asanteman and Ghana, was crowned with a colourful enstoolment ceremony at Huntado, a community within the Denyase Traditional Area of Ashanti Region. 

Nana Adjoua Ahou II, was enstooled as the Nkosuohemaa of Denyase traditional area with the stool name, Nana Adwoa Akyaa II.

A special visit was made to the Nifahene of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, who doubles as Asokore Mampong Hene, Nana Boakye Ansah Debrah II at his palace.

Nana Adwoa Akyaa II in an interview with PAG TV News commended the people of Ghana for their warmest sense of hospitality and kindness, most especially to the Asantehemaa Nana Ama Konadu Yiadom III, and all the other prominent dignitaries she visited.

She ceased the opportunity to thank the paramount queen of Denyase traditional area, Nana Adutwiwaa Bonin III for accepting her into her kingdom and entrusting in her the title of a development queen.

"I am happy to visit the land of Ashanti, which happens to be the land of my ancestors. As an Akan in Là Cote D'Ivoire, and knowing how it feels to touch on the soil of Ghana and particularly Asante, i am now the happiest person on earth. I promise to work side by side with various queens in the Ashanti kingdom, particularly the places i visited and Denyase where i am now enstooled as queen". She narrated.

Nana Hemaa also visited some tourist attractions centers in the kingdom including, Bonwire Kente village and Kumasi Cultural Center among others.
