Accra: Five graduate students receive Scholarship from Lebanese Embassy.

The Lebanese Embassy in Ghana on Thursday, 31st March, 2022 awarded scholarships to five graduate students of the Ghana Institute of Journalism. The annual event was initiated by the embassy in 2017 to assist brilliant but needy students of the Institute. 

Professor Kwamena Kwansah-Aidoo, the Rector of the Institute, congratulated the beneficiaries and expressed gratitude to the Lebanese embassy for the continuous support to students of the Institute.

H.E Maher Kher, the Lebanese Ambassador to Ghana, on his part, urged the beneficiaries to justify the confidence reposed in them by the embassy and the Institute by excelling in their various programmes of study. He expressed gratitude to Professor Kwamena Kwansah-Aidoo and the staff of GIJ for their committed service in ensuring the success of the programme.
