22 STUDENTS MAKE IT TO RECTOR'S HONOURS LIST; 16 OTHERS RECEIVE GIJFUND SCHOLARSHIP

Twenty undergraduate students were today awarded certificates for outstanding academic performance and for making it into the Rector's Honours List.

They were made up of six/6 Diploma 2 students, seven/7 Level 200 students, one/Level 300 student and eight/8 Level 400 students.

The Rector's Honours List was instituted in 2020 to award outstanding students who attain a Grade Point Average of 3.50 or better in the academic year. 

Rector of the institute, Prof. Kwamena Kwansah-Aidoo congratulated the students and admonished them to do even better to ensure that they continue to receive the prestigious recognition.

The event also witnessed the award of the GIJFUND Scholarship to 16 brilliant but needy students for the academic year. Awardees were encouraged to stay up the ladder academically to justify the Institute's investment.
