Volta College Foundation donates to Three Kings Special School for the blind.

The Volta College Foundation, an NGO based in the Volta Region of Ghana as part of its core mandates to support the needy and less privileged in society, made a donation to the Three Kings Special School for the Blind at Adidome-Avakpedome in the Central Tongu District of Volta Region on 5th March, 2022.
The donation formed part of its quarterly projects which was carried out after the Tongu Zonal Leader identified the school as one of the less privileged schools in the area.
Some of the items presented to the school through the District Director of Education include; teaching and learning materials toiletries, bags of rice, gallons of
cooking oil and other assorted food items, 6 sets of ceiling fans at the cost of over Five Thousand Ghana Cedis.
Dignitaries present at the event were the District Chief Executive (DCE) of Central Tongu, Hon. Thomas
Zonyrah Moore, Assembly Member for Awakpedome Agbakpame, Hon. James Agorti, the District Director of Education among others.
The DCE expressed his joy at the kind gesture of the organization and urged other corporate bodies to emulate and help give back to society.
On his side, the headmaster of the school lamented on lack of computers in the school to aid in teaching and learning of ICT.
He appealed to individuals and organisations to come to thier aid.
The group later visited the Suncity Lodge in Bakpa as part of efforts to promote tourism in the region where members entertained themselves and other visitors with some borborbor tunes.
