UE: Robber arrested by Town Folks

 

A 30 years old man is in the hands of the Police of Binduri District for allegedly breaking into a mobile phone shop.

The alleged suspect namely Akuka was arrested by the town folks when he broke into a mobile phone shop at Atuba in the Binduri District of the Upper East Region for his usually operation but unfortunately  was picked.

Speaking to some residents, they said, they suspect him to be behind the numerous robbery incidents across Kusaug especially in Sapelliga and Binduri respectively.

Earlier before this arrest, some youths in Sapelliga arrested some suspected criminals and handed them over to the police, a developing trend which shows that community members are beginning to take action against rising insecurity.
