Nunana Precious wins the Ashanti Senior Tennis Championship.

Precious Nunana from the Ho Tennis Court has once again proved her status as a potential Ghana’s Number Female Tennis player.

Successfully winning the Female Singles at the Sogakofe Tennis Open and the 19th Accra Senior Tennis Open, Nunana beat Yayra Komashie two straight 6-2,6-4 to lift the Singles Trophy at Ashanti Senior Tennis Championship. 

In the Mixed doubles She paired with Mohammed Zakaria from the Ashanti Tennis Club and beat Fiifi and Mariam 9-4 to emerge winners. 

Speaking to Swiss Sports, Nunana expressed her excitement but told us how tired she was playing in the Tournament. 

“I am soo happy winning this championship but I must be honest I was very tired. I had barely one week to rest after playing in the Accra Tennis Open Tournament. Secondly I had to travel on road for about 12 hours from Ho to Kumasi and that Journey got me exhausted. I thanks God I was still able to win.”

In the Ladies double Precious paired with Miss Mariam from Ashanti Tennis club but they lost in the Finale to Madam Adwoa and Miss Deladem after 8-8 score with a super tie break of 8-10. 

“I want to play in the African Games to hosted by Ghana in 2023. Its my dream to represent Ghana and make myself, Ho Tennis Club and Ghana proud.” She revealed to Swiss Sports 93.7. 

Arguably Ghana’s best Female Tennis player in Ghana should be Precious Nunana from the Ho Tennis Club!
