Newly Installed King rejects offers to marry a 14 year old Virgin.

 

The newly installed King of Bamoun in Cameroon, King Nabil Mbombo Njoya has rejected the offers of marrying a 14-year-old virgin as tradition demands. 

According to tradition, the wife of a new king must come from the Njim Monchouh family to terminate traditional rites known as “Lah-Kam”

However, the New Chief declined the offer saying, she's a minor, and shouldn't be getting married.

However, the new King promised to sponsor her education from secondary school to the university.
