Ketu South sweeps home Top awards.

Denu Coasters cruised home with GH¢2000, Gold Medal 🥇,Trophy 🏆 and the bragging right as they emerged winners at the first edition of Adonai Osagyefo Basketball Championship.

They beat their city rivals Aftown Flames from Aflao 29 - 22 in the grand finale at the Basketball Arena of Ho Sports Stadium. They qualifies to the Grand Finale by beating Wolves from Ho 39-31.

Arguable one of the epic game was the semi final match between Akpini Snippers from Kpando and Aflao Aftown Flames which got spectators out of their seats till the final whistle. Aftown flames won by 35-33 to set up a Final with their city rivals.

Aftown Flames went home with the Silver Medal 🥈 and a cash prize of GH¢1000 whiles Akpini Snippers from Kpando came in third after beating Wolves in a best of 5 free throws to take home bronze medal 🥉 and GH¢500 cash.

The Adonai Osagyefo Basketball Championship is a production of Swiss FM (Swiss Sports 93.7) and Kyekyeku Basketball Academy with Adonai Estate Limited as the Title Sponsor. Its going to be a yearly event to be staged in Honour of the First President of Ghana and also to unearth the buzzing talents in the Volta Region and beyond.

This year’s event had Ten (10) teams coming across the country competing;

Chiefs Basketball Academy (Kumasi), Buem Warriors (Jasikan), Kyekyeku Basketball Academy (Tsito), D Coasters (Denu), Aftown Flames (Aflao), War Eagles (Ho), Wolves (Ho), H City Ballers (Ho), Mawuvi Basketball Fellowship (Hohoe) and Akpini Snippers (Kpando).

Again, Ho City and Volta Region has been sold to the World cutesy Bright Adonai and his wonderful staff.
