One of the Unkown Warrior King known as Osagyefo Nanan( Nana ) Kwadjo Amangoua spelled as Nana Kwadwo Amankwa of Ivory Coast who fought the French People in Ivory Coast .

Osagyefuo/Osagyefo Nanan( Nana) Kadjo Amangoua Aboure , Evalue by Tribe an Ivorian and Akan Warrior who fought the French People in Present day Ivory Coast .
Osagyefo Nanan Kadjo Amangoua translated to Twi as Osagyefo Nana Kojo Amankwa who hail from Present day Ivory Coast . Osagyefo Amangoua was an Ivorian Warrior whose Mother was known as Adjoua Amangoua who was a native Evalue and his father was known as Obarima Asamoa.
 Through his maternal ancestry the Evalue traced to his great grandfather known as Kouassi Amangoua whose Ancestors was believed to have originated from the Akuapem region of the Eastern Region of Ghana . Osagyefo Kadjo Amangoua was born around 1741 in Attinquie , Ivory coast to a Aboure linguist or Aboure Okyeame known as Obarima Asamoa in what is now Cote d'ivoire also referred as Ivory Coast.
 In the early days of Osagyefo Kadjo Amangoua he appointed his Nephew as a leader to led a war against his neighbouring M’Bato an Akan group in Ivory Coast , It is claimed M’bato also declared war against Kadjo and his Aboure People and It is said M’bato won the first time and ruled over them later another one Aboure and M’bato another war due to submission the Aboure won under the leadership of Kadjo Amangoua and became free from the neighboring M’bato . 
Kadjo Amangoua was very brave man just like Ghanaian Yaa Asantewaa , Queen Nzinga of Angola , Ririkutuma of Burundi ,Muhumuza of Rwanda , Kadjo now united with Aboure and Evalue then all together they declared a war against the French People in the 1800s known as War of Resistance , Kadjo told M’bato that we cannot continue to declare wars among ourselves as Akans let us unite as one People . 
Yao Amponsah Ntim a M’Bato who traced his ancestry back to the Jwira- Pepease of Ghana agreed with Osagyefo Kadjo Amangoua before the War of Resistance was declared against the French around 1782- 1785 and he was Asenie by clan the symbol of his clan is a bat .

During the 1782 battle , Aboure and Evalue joined Osagyefo Kadjo Amangoua used their guns and other weapons to fight the French so far more than 21 Kings have ruled over the Aboure People , a hunter known as Assiri Agyeman spelled as Agyemang was part of his two armies and Kadjo led fight against the French who colonized them and oppressed his people , Kadjo Amangoua was very angry then he cut off the head of the French Colonialist as the blood of the French was on the ground . Kadjo Amangoua fought with bravery and threatened all the French People to leave his people alone or they will die horribly in wars . 
During the reign of Nanan Akoto spelled as Nana Akoto , Kadjo’s daughter was said to have been captured and died the date of the death of his daughter was not recorded , Kadjo Amangoua was chosen by Nanan Akoto as the leader for M’bato armies , this was the first example to be given in the role of fighting for the Akans Freedom from the French .

 It is said in the Beginning of the 1802 , Kadjo Amangoua led a rebellion which is unknown in Bingerville, Ivory Coast where he was captured and being maltreated by Soldier Sir. Louis Adams from France later Kadjo attacked Sir. Adams and other French prisoners were attacked by Kadjo and Kadjo’s 1,400 armies during this rebellion.
Kadjo was believed to have been exiled to Cape Verde in 1810, Evalue and Aboure did not give up on Kadjo Amangoua but fought their way until Kadjo returned back from Cape Verde to Ivory Coast in 1820 . 
Two years after the death of Omanhene Nanan Bosompem I of Evalue , Kadjo continued fighting the French over his people resources until Kadjo passed away due to a planned assassination bu French Colonial Masters and captured Aboure and Evalue sold into Slavery . 

The Aboures are composed of 9 clans that often have been scattered because of the wars that these companies have experienced . This modern day , Bonoua brings together all of the clans are as the following : Ehivevlve , 10 seats , Adjekepoue , 6 sieges, Obun Ehive , 5 seats , Adevesse Ehive , 5 seats, Memle Ehive , 4 seats , Honlovin , 4 seats , Ogbissi Ehive , 3 seats , Koho , 1 seat and Moho , 1 seat . The Aboure mainly in Grand- Bassam and Bonoua . It is believed Kadjo , Aboure and Evalue had opposed the French Colonization . Towards the end of the 19th Century , Others referred him as Kadjo a bonoua and According to Gpo Akebo Abagininin ‘s account , The names of Kadjo descendants include Appellee, Abli Amangoua , Miessan , Etienne , Aba , Abou , Ampey , Yapo , Adama Ampoh, Annkrah , Abrey Toure , Haruna Abubakaray , Kroya , Avenie , Naoule , Wogin , Assi , Ahoba , Ahoga , Kova, Adje ( Adjei) , Lazare , Ahoze , Allangba , Niangra , Kouame , Allouan and may other names .  
According to Acheter Titrologie’s account , Kadjo Amangoua of Bonoua on the last Saturday had a meeting with Gbagbo in Grand- Bassam and Coulibaly in Grand Bassin with Ahaure ( Annor) on a journey to gather women to be considered be a warriors and It is aid his Ancestors are of Akuapem Origins from Gold Coast Present day Ghana to what is now Ivory Coast and During Katamanso War another Akan grouped who left what is now Ghana to Ivory Coast joined Kadjo as they celebrate a Popo Carnival in Bonoua , Popo translates as Mask , allowing participants to design their own bright and colorful decorations , Kadjo Armies presented war dances that play out cruel scenes from French Colonial rule .  
The Carnival of Popo in Bonoua , Ivory Coast runs for a week in the east of Abidjan . It's one of the most attended in Ivory Coast . Derived from at first a celebration of cultural heritage of Aboure People , Popo Carnival Involves gastronomic competitions , miss pageants , sports , days , a festival of traditional dances and reflection workshops among other activities .
