V/R: Tourism Aid Ghana Volta bloc Successful Inaugurated in Ho

Tourism Aid Ghana a non-profitable organization geared towards creating sustainable solution to mitigate challenges confronting domestic tourism in rural communities across the country, has  successful inaugurated its Regional Blocs and executives in the Volta Regional Capital,  Ho. 
The event held, at at the Volta Regional Meseum on Saturday 4th September has its  participant mostly Youth, enlightened to the  exploitation benefits of tourism development. 

In an address, the board Chair, Tourism Aid Ghana Mr. Micheal Appiah stated and  commend the government of Ghana of their roles in the development of tourism in the country
"The government has done a lot, in tourism development in the country but my outfit is here to simply support government's plights to achieving the tourism goals" He stated 

Mr. Appiah further hinted that, Tourism Aid Ghana has the target of reaching every corner of the country to enable them identify the challenges to find a solutions to them. 

"Tourism Aid Ghana is decentralizing because we want to have more participations,  we believe in having representatives from each region instead of assuming for the people. In this way the people could communicate better with us and they can communicate better with the government of Ghana, other developmental organizations and all other partners in West Africa sub region" He revealed 
 The Board Chair emphasized that Tourism Aid Ghana has not come to compete with other companies but simply to ensure that the developmental goals are met and that the livelihood of all Ghanaians are prioritized. 

The Acting Municipal Chief Executive of Ho,  Hon. Prosper Pii - Bansah at the event express his joy and readiness of the assembly to support their endeavors in the region and the Municipality.

" I am delighted Tourism Aid Ghana is now in the Volta Region especially, because for a while now we have been making plans on developing some tourist sites in the Volta Region. For instance there is a dam at Takla which has some beautiful creatures in it, we can also  look at the view of Ho especially when you climb the mountain, it is a breath taking." He noted 
 According to him they also have plans to make stairs  to the top of the mountain, which he said,  would be especially good for health walk purposes, workouts, recreational activities among others which tourists will be very interested in the sights that await them at the very top. 

Hon. Pii - Bansah believes this would create job  opportunities for the youth to form groups or organizations that will bring out the beautiful dance, culture and artifacts that displays the beautiful tradition, history and origin of  people Volta. 

As part of the launching the organizers donated items to Madamfo Ghana Children Shelter and Rhema Foster Homes at Ho respectively.

Participants at the inauguration used the event to visit some tourist sites at Akome Water falls, Ote falls and Mountain Gemi at  Amedzofe with the New Regional Bloc Co-ordinator Ms. Precious Fafa Sedofia, Ms. Xornam Ossabutey Coordinating Secretary, and Mr. Godsway Osei the Organizing Secretary.
