Man 45, kills Wife.

The man known as Yaw Muntom has reported himself to the Prang Police for allegedly murdering his wife on Saturday 21st August,2021 around 3pm.
According to the suspect, Mr Muntom Yaw, He said "I had a quarrel with his 30 years old wife Madam Abena Jayon which resulted to her demise".
The man further added that, during the misunderstanding he pulled out his single barrel gun and shot the wife dead.
After narrating the incident to the Police, they handcuffed him and proceeded to the crime scene at Lele to confirm it.
Reaching Lele, the suspect led police to his house and pointed to police the body of his deceased wife lying in a prone position dead in a pool of blood while the single barrel gun allegedly used to kill her also lying beside the body.
The body was carefully examined and a gun shot wound was seen on her left shoulder closed to the neck.
The gun was also inspected and the body and scene was photographed before conveying it to Mathias Catholic Hospital Morgue, Yeji for preservation and autopsy.
The Suspect Yaw Muntom is currently in Police cells to assist with investigation whilst the single barrel gun and an empty BB cartridge is kept at the station for evidential purpose.
The case is under investigation according to the Police .
The Suspect Yaw Montom will be arraigned before the Atebubu District magistrate court on Monday, 23/08/2021.
