Robbed Victim narrates how they were robbed at Tsopoli.

A young man in the late 20's has narrated how they were attacked and robbed at Tsopoli on their way to Accra.

The Young Man whose name is withheld for security reasons told our news team that, 

"they were on board to Accra and around reaching Tsopoli got attacked by some armed robber's on the highway and were robbed off their belongings.

In further explanation, He said, their driver felt a blockade under the vehicle, so he stopped, unknowingly it was a trap set by the robber's (they threw a lorry tyre under the vehicle).

So after stopping, the robber's quickly move towards the vehicle through the from door and the back.

They (Robbers) ordered them to submit their monies and phones which they did and after several minutes returned demanding for their Momo Pin codes of which some of them gave out but some resisted. For those who resisted they were beaten severely and also stabbed before giving out the Pin codes.

The robber now transferred the cash into their phones and also pick the phones away.

An alarm was raised, but they took to their heels before the Police came to the crime scene.

The victims were sent to the nearest Police station where they spent their night and sent home the following day for medical treatments".
