RESIDENTS CRY OVER ABANDONED HEALTH CENTER

Chiefs and residents of ASUOGYA ZEVOR in the Akyemansa District, Eastern Region have asked government to pay immediate attention to abandoned health facility in the community or risk their displeasure.
The Chiefs in an interview expressed their disappointment in the way the NPP government has neglected the health centers or project's initiated by Former Prez. John Dramani Mahama administration.
According to them, the issue of abandoned the projects by successive government has over the years been the norm and it is hard time the practice stops as it is deprives voters in such communities their constitutional rights, adding that, such practice has been a bane to Ghana's development.
The Chiefs and the assembly member, Honourable Isaac Tomokosu stated that residents of the community have no access to healthcare and other essential services as existing facilities such as school, teachers come and return due to the deplorable state of the community, we rented the health facility serving communities around yet, it's state is nothing to write home about and the deplorable road to where the main government hospital in Akim Oda is is also bad.

For the past four and half years the community have been struggling to receive good healthcare from the abandoned health facility, despite its devastated state, services the community.
