A/R : 40 YEAR OLD WOMAN FELL IN GALAMSEY PIT AT BOGYAWE .

An information reaching our news desk this morning indicates that, Akua Serwaa 40, has drown in a galamsey pit.
The sad incident happened at Bogyawe in the Bekwai Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
Speaking to one of the community folk, Kwabena Gyamfi a.k.a Fabulous said, Akua Serwaa got missing on Monday in the community and in search of her someone saw her clothes and slippers at the galamsey site and informed her husband.
He added that, the deceased husband with some of the community members including himself went to the site.
He disclosed that, the pit that the slippers and the cloths were beside were occupied with water so they used pumping machine to dry it up.
After emptying the pit, they saw 40 year old Akua Serwaah lifeless in the pit.
The deceased, Ama Serwaa left a husband and Four (4) children.
