Oti Region: Alijo Stars wins Ahamansu Electoral Area Goat Cup

Assembly member for Ahamansu electoral area in the Akan constituency of the Oti region, Honorable Muhamed Haris has organized a two days football Competition in his electoral area, the competitions aim is to promote peace, unity and hard work among the youths.

Addressing the media in the opening ceremony, Hon Haris has thanked the good people Ahamansu, Nananoom, the District Chief Executive officer and the mlMember of Parliament for their support.

According to him, the main reason for organizing the program is to empower the young talents and also the get their massive support in activities that needs the help and support of the youths such as communal labour.

He added, most youths in his electoral area are blessed with talents and he's poised to bring them up by this activities.

Six teams in the electoral area which includes

Ahamansu Network FC,  Ahamansu Alijo stars,  Ahamansu Funtu 11, Ahamansu Junction Stars, Ahamansu Paris Stars and Ahamansu Secondariya

At the end of the tournament Alijo stars won on penalties by 8:7 as they played goaless drow at the finals with Ahamansu Funtu eleven

The winner ( Alijo stars) went home with the goat, the cup, a ball and 150 Ghana cedis.

Second runners up went home with a football and 150gh

 Network FC placed third and they went home with 150gh 

The remaining teams also grab 150gh each

Ahamansu sports complex was the venue.

Finally, Honorable Muhammed Haris has appealed to the government to come to their aid by renovating  their abandoned Police station and Nurses Bangalow as it's in  deplorable state.
