Buem MP donates to the Muslim community.

Hon. Kofi Adams, the Member of Parliament for Buem has on Friday 30th April, 2021 donated over one hundred bags of rice, sugar and other assorted items to the Muslim community in his constituency.
The gesture is aimed at supporting Muslims within the constituency to carry-out their month long Ramadan fasting.
The donation was received on behalf of the Muslim community by Jasikan district chief Imam, Sheikh Abdul Razak Abubakar, the Sarkin Zango, Alhaji Yaaro Bawa and some prominent muslim leaders within the Jasikan District.
In a short ceremony, the MP urged all Muslims to use this holy period to pray for peace for the country, the Buem community and the NDC party.
The Imams and chiefs expressed their gratitude to the MP for his kind gesture. They appealed to him for academic scholarship for the Muslim youth within the Jasikan district so they can attain higher Islamic and circular education.
They equally urged the MP to remain focused and resolute in his developmental agenda for the Buem constituency.
The Oti regional chief Imam of the Ahlussunna Wal Jamaat, Sheikh Musah Biyaw Abubakar and the Jasikan district chief Imam, Sheikh Abdul-Razak Abubakar also advised the MP to always seek the face of Almighty Allah in all his endeavors so as to be successful.
The MP also used the occasion to thank the Muslim community for their prayers and support and wished the Muslim world a fruitful fasting period.
