EPUC : Assembly and Urban Roads to clear debris near main campus.

The Ho Municipal Coordinating Director, Peter Kwesi Thompson has assured the university community that, the Assembly would engage Department of Urban Roads  to clear debris on the road in front of the main campus which has narrowed access to the University, the regional office of the Electoral Commission among others. 

Mr. Thompson gave the assurance when Prof. Edem Bakah, the newly appointed President and some management members paid a courtesy call on the Municipal Assembly to explore areas of collaboration towards the development of the municipality on Monday, March 1, 2021. 

Reacting to a concern raised by the President on the inconveniences of the stalled project near EPUC, Mr. Thompson, who spoke on behalf of the Ho Municipal Chief Executive, Prosper Pi-Bansah said the issue would be given an immediate attention. 

“ I will talk to the urban roads on the debris and see that it is worked on.”

Though no date has been stated for the clearing exercise, it will be a big relief to members of the University community and other road users who have struggled to use the available one lane left without debris due to an uncompleted work on a gutter near the institution.

The President is taking his tour to the Regional Police Commander on Thursday, March 4, 2021.
