Notorious Car Snatching Gang Arrested, 7 Taxi Cars Retrieved

The Patrol team of Suame division command of the Ashanti Region of Ghana has arrested two notorious car snatchers on their normal patrols. 

The galant officers of the Suame Police command stoped a black and yellow taxi cab with registration AW-319-20 with two passengers on board. During a search was conducted, and a sponge was found in the pocket of one of the passengers. 

The Patrol team became suspicious as that has been the modus operandi of car snatchers in that vicinity who usually tie their Victims with either nylon rope or sponge. The suspects were arrested and interrogated which led to the retrieval of 7 stolen vehicles in their hideout in Sunyani.

Ghana Police urges the public whose cars has been snatched to kindly assist the Police by coming to identify the suspects.
