Meet Nathlaine Matilda Marfo, TTAG NATIONAL PRM Hopeful

Miss Nathlaine Matilda Marfo is a newly qualified teacher, gender activist and an entrepreneur. She holds a diploma in Basic Education from St. Louis College of Education.

She has served as SRC Financial Secretary and Child’s Right Club President for St. Louis College of Education and Kumasi Girls Senior High School respectively. 

Nathlaine enjoys reading and writing. Her favorite book is Half of a yellow sun by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Her favorite subject while in college was Mathematics, being a subject area perceived to be the purview of boys, she challenged herself to excel in it.
 
Nathlaine’s teaching philosophy is “to teach to touch lives and to give a skill in order to create a lasting wealth”.
 
She is currently the Executive Director of the Gender Equity Awareness Network (GEAN) and the Administrative Secretary for African Students for Inter Faith Tolerance (Asfit) Network.

Nathlaine is also a CEO of enterprise SAMA cereals, a small scale enterprise at Old Tafo, Kumasi and currently employs two people
