G/A: Ada East MCE cuts sod for Market facility.

On Thursday, 14th May, 2020, the District Chief Executive (DCE) of Ada East, in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana, has cut sod for the construction of a medium market facility at Kasseh.
According to the DCE, Hon. Sarah Dugbakie Pobee, the facility would comprise of lockable shops, Open stalls and a creche, and if completed, would be of a major boost to activities in the market as there have been, over the years, issues about congestion and lack of proper structures by market women in the area.
In a short closing remarks, Hon. Sarah Dugbakie Pobee, the first female DCE since the creation of the Ada East District thanked the President, H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, and other key organizations and individuals for their role in putting up the project.
"I sincerely thank H.E Nana Addo for giving Ada its share of the One million Dollar per constituency to undertake this huge project. I must thank the CEO of Coastal Development Authority, Lawyer Jerry Shaibu Ahmed, for his support. I must also thank the chiefs and people of Kasseh, especially the market traders, for their support.” He applauded.
She concluded by urging the youth of the area to avail themselves for job opportunities, adding that the project would be completed within 6 months.
