DCE FOR NORTH DAYI PROVIDES WATER FOR THE PEOPLE OF SABADU .

The Representative of the President of the North Dayi District, Hon. Kudjoh Attah, has engaged the services of BENGEO ENTERPRISE LIMITED to provide a mechanised water system for the people of Sabadu where the Member of Parliament hails from.
The project, according to the dynamic DCE , “will be one of the largest investment ever made by the Assembly in the addressing a perenial shortage of water that has affected lives negatively for decades now in the  the district ”, and is in fulfillment of a pledge he made to the  people on when he met them during the easter after a rainstorm that displaced several homes.

When visited the site on Wednesday , 22nd April , 2020, he stated that the pledge he made was to the effect that construction of the water system will “avert the perennial shortage of water and the suffering of young kids and health providers caused by the break down of stand pipes ”, as the construction of the system will be the permanent solution to the problem of water shortage in the community .

“Today, we begin the process of realising this pledge. Today, we start the process of helping to bring respite to the people of Sabadu, and to lay the foundation for the sustained growth and development of the area,” he added.

The project will consist of three main components, namely the construction of a mechanised system; the rehabilitation of broken stand pipes, and connection of the water system to some health facilities. 

Dce continued, “With millions of cedis spent , in the midst of the prevelance of covid-19, this project has come at the time we continously must wash hands under running water with soap and adhere to the rest of the hygiene protocols.

“In all, some 50 young men and women, skilled and unskilled, will benefit fully from the project, with the contractor mandated also to source services such as catering, security, water, cement, steel, and other supplies locally,” the Dce instructed.
