Covid19: Keta Municipal Hospital in distress, calls for support.

Keta Municipal Hospital, one of the biggest hospitals in the Volta Region of Ghana, is in dire need of Personal Protective Equipments and other essential items necessary in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic. This was revealed in a letter signed by the Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Dr. Antoinette Ekuban, soliciting for support from the general public to help them in acquiring the said items.

The hospital, since the outbreak of covid-19 has recorded three suspected cases with two testing negative and one pending official results from the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research.

The Volta Region has recorded a total of nine cases with six of the confirmed cases recorded in Ketu South Municipal, which shares close boundary with Keta Municipality.
