The coronavirus (COVID-19) is affecting 162 countries and territories around the world, and so far over 180,000 cases have been recorded and over 7,000 deaths.
Ghana has recorded 6 cases of coronavirus so far and as a result of the virus President of Ghana, Nana Akufo Addo has ban social gatherings and closure of educational institutions until further notice.
In a video sighted by thedistin.com, over 1,000 inmates have escaped Sao Paulo Prison in Brazil after tensions over coronavirus restrictions.
The inmates expressing their fears put security on hostage as the majority of them escaped the prison.
