Boy, 16, Drowned In the Volta River

A 16 years old boy meets his untimely death when he gets drown in the Volta River.
The incident which occurred on Wednesday, March 19, 2020, at Mamakope a fishing community near Atimpoku in the Eastern Region.
The body of the deceased, Ayuba Zebelo, has been deposited at the VRA Hospital.
Mybrytfmonline.com has also gathered that the deceased boy went swimming with his 15-year-old friend when the sad incident happens.
Local fishermen quickly dived in an attempt to rescue him but were pronounced dead on arrival at the VRA Hospital.
