Action Chapel introduces Mobile Money payment of Tithe and offerings after ban on Churches

Declared pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO), Coronavirus has killed more than 7,000 people, sickened over 200,000 and spread to 75 countries and regions worldwide.
Ghana is currently faced with seven confirmed cases of the widespread virus, with over 350 people having had contact with the affected persons being observed.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on March 15, 2020, issued a directive that all outdoor events including funerals, church activities and naming ceremonies, be suspended.
Well, after this directive, it appears some churches are changing their ways of collecting tithe and offerings from their members.
A finding by Celebrities Buzz indicates that Action Chapel International whose founder is Arch-Bishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams has introduced a new way by which members can pay their tithes and offerings to the church.
There’s a unique code *800*10# – this code when dialed on every network presents options to congregants on how to pay their tithes and offerings.

This is a smart initiative. But things like this make me think if some churches are only after money or the souls of their members.
