2 Police officers interjected by IGP

Two police officers have been interjected by the Acting Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mr James Oppong-Boanuh over missing of gun.
The two officers are Superintendent Mr Edward Tetteh, the Abokobi/Ayimensah District Commander and C/Inspector Christopher Bekor, the Akporman Manna station officer.
A news release signed by Assistant Commissioner of Police, David Eklu, said an inquiry has been opened on the conduct of the interdicted officers.
The Interdiction of the two police officers brings to three the number of officers interjected by James Oppong-Boanuh since he assumed office on Monday, July 22, 2019 which has been reported in the media.
In times past, the Ghana Police service has often been in the news for the wrong reasons.
